Two of my theater affiches created for International Opera Productions (the opera of the italian composer Gaetano Donizetti "Lucia di Lammermoor") have been selected by the jury of Lürzer´s Archive for the publication in the book "200 Best Illustrators Worldwide 2009/2010".
Opera "Lucia di Lammermoor" is based upon Sir Walter Scott's historical novel "The Bride of Lammermoor". The story takes place in 17th century, Italy. Just like in tragedy “Romeo and Juliet” it concerns two confronted families, the Ashtons and the Ravenswoods. It's a dramatical story with a tragic end.
The book will be presented at the Cannes Ad Fest, 2009.
